1. How much does NSW Parents' Council Membership cost?

2. I would like to submit a nomination for an Award for Excellence for my child's teacher, but my school is not a Member. Can I still make a submission?
Unfortunately, the NSW Parents' Council Awards are only open to current Member schools. You can join online here.
3. My school doesn't have a Parents' Association. Can we still become Members?
Yes, your Principal can apply on behalf of your School. You can join online here.
4. How do we renew our Membership?
You can now easily renew online here.
5. We have a new Parents' Association Committee this year, and we need some help with general governance and regulatory requirements. Can you help?
Certainly, we have experts in governance who can help with model constitutions, office bearer roles, running an effective Committee Meeting and AGM, ACNC and ABN registrations, volunteers' insurance, and much more. Find out more about our Good Governance program.
6. Help! I'm having difficulty logging onto the Members' Portal
If this is the first time you are accessing the portal, please enter your email address (as per your NSW Parents' Council e-newsletter), then set up your own password. Please note that each school can only set up one account. If you are still having difficulty, please contact community@parentscouncil.nsw.edu.au.
The Member's Portal is for current Members only. If you are not a Member but would like to become part of our community, you can join online here. If your membership has lapsed, you can now easily renew online here.
7. How do I submit a nomination for one of your Awards or Teacher Scholarships ?
It's simple, just login to the Members' Portal and complete the online nomination form. You can attach any additional supporting documentation to support your nomination. For help on logging into the Members' Portal please refer to (6). If you are still having difficulty, please contact community@parentscouncil.nsw.edu.au.
