Our Aims:
To promote the right of all parents to choose schools for their children.
Foster quality in schooling for all students.
Achieve equity for independent school parents and their children in the distribution of Government funds allocated to schooling.
Goals:
Provide leadership on parent education related issues and strong parent/school collaboration.
Advocacy for families and students across New South Wales in independent education on a strictly non-partisan basis.
Empower parents and carers of children in independent schools with parenting, educational, and volunteering resources and support.
Encourage parents to relate to teachers in a respectful and collaborative manner.
Encourage the Australian and NSW Governments to provide a fair level of funding for students and schools through a transparent funding process that is fair and equitable for all school systems.
Increase Australian and NSW Government funding resources for students with disabilities that is fair and equitable for all school systems.
To have equitable access to transparent educational funding for all independent school children.
To facilitate improvement in the quality of schooling through strengthening parent-school partnerships.
Strive to maximise the safety of students in all school-related situations.
Work effectively with other peak school parent organisations and education agencies.
